80%20 seeks Full Time Design and Product Development Assistant

Job Description:
* Follow creative direction to build collection from concept to prototype to finished sample
* Execute design “technical packages” with translation of all details so the factory can accurately execute prototypes
* Communicate daily with overseas offices for all product development details
* Coordinate sample confirmation process- timely approval of fitting, materials,and construction
* Create images for sales and media relations- website, line sheets, lookbooks, press books

Qualifications
* 1-2 years experience in Footwear Industry or design related field
* Strength and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, quick with hand sketching
* Familiarity with the development process as it relates to working with overseas factories and vendors
* Effectively manage time and multi-task, pay strong attention to detail, and work within a team environment
* Possess a strong fashion sense and the ability to interpret trends
* Written and Verbal Communication
* Understanding of our target customer
* Follow Up and Organized

Hardware design experience a plus
Size 6 foot a plus

Salaried position with two weeks paid vacation. Health benefits option.
