The 80%20 Brand

80%20 is a New York-based line that has grown from its street culture roots into an internationally loved brand with a strong cult following. The concept behind 80%20 came from designer Ce Ce Chin’s observation that we tend to wear our favorite twenty percent of our wardrobe eighty percent of the time. Having spent the last six years designing that special twenty percent, 80%20 has established itself as one of the most innovative forces in footwear, creating shoes that perfectly balance personality and wearability.

The original mantra of 80%20 was 80% Life, 20% Shoes = 100% Love.  At the beginning, Ce Ce’s passion for shoes was the driving force in her life, and the business, with its highs and lows was almost like a love affair. However as the brand evolves, Ce Ce has discovered the new 20% that makes a difference in her life, and that is Connection.
